Kimberly Langley

Kimberly Langley began her dance training with Naomi Calvert and Ann Brodie in Columbia, SC also locally training under Nancy Giles, Radenko Pavlovich and William Starrett. She was the recipient of a dance scholarship from Susan Anderson at The University of South Carolina where she performed with the USC Dance Company. She has studied many genres of dance with world renowned teachers including Maya Plisetskaya of the Bolshoi Ballet, Michael Lland, David Howard, Stephanie Ballard and Chuck Kelley.

Kimberly has over twenty years of teaching experience in the Midlands area and North Carolina. She has taught on all levels from rec to pre professional in many genres in a studio setting. She has shared her love of the performing arts with elementary and pre- school age groups within after school and daycare programs. She is the former director of a dance company that she helped to achieve national rankings in their very first year. Kimberly has been an adjudicator for several national talent competitions and a master instructor for Dance Masters of America convention. Among her performing accolades with several ballet and contemporary companies, she was invited to perform with Peter Gossamer and a selection of Rockettes in a celebration for the Governor of New York.

Her high energy personality and style of teaching motivates students to push beyond their limits. She is known by her students for the phrase “just one more time I promise”. Students that have been under her tutelage have gone on to achieve honors including being crowned Miss South Carolina, performing with the Rockettes, YAGP and other notable competition scholarship recipients, SYTYCD, performers for Vegas shows, Opryland and Disney. They have also become moms, dads, nurses, doctors and school teachers. Seeing students soar and follow their dreams after graduating from their studio life is what she loves most about teaching. Kimberly also works for the Colonial Life District Sales Office. She and her husband, Dustin, reside in Northeast Columbia and have two children, Kamryn and Dustin Jr.
